Who Inherits Heaven?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who
soever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever. Psalm
37:29
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because
of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked
devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself
in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that
wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while,
and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place,
and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight
themselves in the abundance of peace. Psalm 37:7–11
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right
to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14
The New Earth
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe
also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it
were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place
for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come
again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there
ye may be also. John 14:1-3
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons
ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting
unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be
dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according
to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye
may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 2 Peter 3:9-14
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and
the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelation
21:1

Life in the New Earth
And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall
plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build,
and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for
as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect
shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour
in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of
the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. And it
shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while
they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall
feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and
dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD. Isaiah 65:21-25
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall
lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the
fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow
and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together:
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child
shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put
his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge
of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Revelation 11:6-9
For as the new heavens and the new earth,
which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed
and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another,
and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship
before me, saith the LORD. Isaiah 66:22-23
The Holy City
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in
God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place
for you. John 14:1,

forty and four cubits. ... And the building of
the wall of it was of jasper. Revelation 21:17, 18
The street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent
glass. Revelation 21:21
And had twelve gates ... On the east three gates; on the north
three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
... And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate
was of one pearl. Revelation 21:12, 13, 21
And they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord
God giveth them light. Revelation 22:5
God's Promises
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold,
I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for
these words are true and faithful. Revelation 21:5
My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and
in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. Violence
shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction
within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation,
and thy gates Praise. Isaiah 32:18; 60:18
And
God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there
shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither
shall there be any more pain: for the former things are
passed away.” Revelation 21:4
The former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isaiah 65:17
But as it is written,
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered
into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love
him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
