The 1000 Years
"And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil,
and Satan, and bound him a thousand years" Revelation 20:2.
"And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal
upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season" Revelation
20:3.
"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto
them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of
Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years" Revelation
20:4.
"But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were
finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that
hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no
power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign
with him a thousand years" Revelation 20:5, 6.
"And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of
his prison" Revelation 20:7.
TheTwo Resurrections
"The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no
resurrection, and asked him" Matthew 22:23.
"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are
in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have
done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil,
unto the resurrection of damnation" John 5:28, 29.
"Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection
at the last day" John 11:24.
"And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou
shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just" Luke 14:14.
"And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there
shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust" Acts
24:15.
"That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship
of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means
I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead" Philippians 3:10, 11.
"But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus
and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection
is past already; and overthrow the faith of some" 2 Timothy 2:16–18.

Condition of the Earth during the Millennium
"And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came
a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It
is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there
was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth,
so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided
into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon
came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of
the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains
were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every
stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of
the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great" Revelation
16:17–21.
"And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice,
saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather
yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat
the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty
men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh
of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. ... And the remnant
were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword
proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh" Revelation
19:17, 18, 21.
"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless
pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that
old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal
upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season" Revelation
20:1–3.
"I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the
heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they
trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was
no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo,
the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken
down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger" Jeremiah 4:23–26.
"Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth
it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. ... The
land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath
spoken this word. ... Because they have transgressed the laws, changed
the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant" Isaiah 24:1, 3, 5.
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how
art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! ... Thou
hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of God: ... I will be like the Most High. Yet thou shalt
be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall
narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that
made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world
as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the
house of his prisoners?" Isaiah 14:12–17.
God's Promises
"Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath
made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth;
he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth
the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God: I will
be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth" Psalm
46:8–10.
"He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy,
and shall break in pieces the oppressor. They shall fear thee as long as the
sun and moon endure, throughout all generations" Psalm 72:2–5.
"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if
any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for
[the sins of] the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we
keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,
is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him
verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him" 1
John 2:1–5.
"The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born
there." Psalm 87:6.
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the
tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city" Revelation
22:14.
